I took some photos yesterday when I went to Stanley Park in Vancouver. I was gonna go last Saturday, but the weather wasn't great so I postponed my journey to yesterday after school.

Anyway, because I need to use some photos for my photography class, I will not post everything I have. I will pick the ones that I don't need for my class and post it here. I hope that's alright for you. =)

I went to Stanley Park to take some pictures today. It was great. I don't know if I should upload those pictures, since those photos are actually for my photography...so I guess I will upload the ones that I am not going to use for the class later. =P

My photography class was quite boring. We were learning how to use the manual functions on the Olympus E-1 camera. Hmm...I guess it wasn't completely useless, but I can't say it's extremely exciting either. hahaha

This is the last time I will post bonsai photos. I have a lot more, of course, but I don't want to bore you guys to death. hahaha...therefore, I will post the ones I like the most to here. =) I hope you still enjoy looking at them. =P

More Chinese plants

I have more pictures to post today. I guess you guys remind me of this word "bonsai", which I didn't even remember until someone posted a comment with this word in Spymac and in here [Thank you amadeus].

Anyway, so here are more bonsai questions, or I will say the Chinese styled plants. =P

Chinese plant display event

I went to Aberdeen Center yesterday, and I saw this Chinese plant display event in the middle of the mall. Here are some photos I took when I was waiting for mom to buy stuff.

Folding@Home

Folding@Home is a distributed computing project -- people from through out the world download and run software to band together to make one of the largest supercomputers in the world. Every computer makes the project closer to our goals.

I decided to sign up yesterday and be a donator to this project. I find this program very meaningful and I am so glad that I can be part of this project. I know my computer is not that great, but at least it's better than nothing. With more computing power, I believe the researchers will find out a cure to all the diseases sooner.

Today:
I went out to with my family for a morning meal. =P It was soo great. I love the chat I had with my family. =)
I also took some pictures in Aberdeen Centre because they had this Chinese plant display event. Anyway, I will show you some pictures later. =)

Blackout

Errr....I am currently experiencing a blackout; therefore, I can't even use my high speed internet connection. My router is down; my cable modem is down. =S

Errr....and I can only use this computer, since this is the only laptop that has a 56k modem inside.

My "mosquito bites"

I went to check with the doctor last night after work. My doctor told me they weren't mosquito bites, but a sign of my allergy to something unknown. Anyway...at least I know what to do, so that's all good.

Besides that, I had been pretty busy doing a lot of minor things. I don't even have a lot of time drawing on the computer, which I miss it a lot. TT Hopefully, I can have one drawing this weekend, but I will see. No guarantees here.

Yesterday, I noticed my cat was playing a string she found on the floor. hahaha...I guess she was quite happy.

I had been suffering from too many mosquito bites (this is not normal that I have it in Summer), so I didn't really take any photos.

I had been real busy with school stuff. First of all, I will need a good camera for my photography course, then I need to start reading my textbook (well, I only have one course book, but I still need to read.) Furthermore, I am in this Information Systems course. It looks like a fun course, but we will see. =)

Construction of Canada Line

Man...Richmond is now a mess with the mass construction of the new Canada Line (a new line for SkyTrain).


As you can probably see in here, this bridge thing is built right in the middle of the road.


Luckily I don't go there a lot, so I am not influenced.

Went out yesterday

I didn't post much stuff yesterday because I went out all day with my family to pre-celebrate for Mother's Day with my mom.

First stop: My mom said she wanted to go to a Chinese medicine store, so I went with her to there.


Honestly, I think it's quite...horrible to go there, so it had this weird herbal smell. hahaha

Anyway, next stop, I went to Superstore...really boring..really.

I saw this nice chair...so I took a photo of that. =P

Anyway...after that, we went to eat in a Chinese restaurant then we went to Costco to do some massive shopping. hahaha
It wasn't a bad day.

LocoRoco!

I am addicted to a game again. I need to blame on my dad for this. I think he must had given me some "gaming genes" =P.

Anyway...
I need to show you how cute this game called "LocoRoco" is. =)

Canucks

I am not a hockey fan, yet I felt the excitement everyone had when Canucks was playing against Ducks.

Well....they lost tonight. I guess Canucks lost the last game because Roberto Luongo thought there was a penalty before the puck went in to the net.

Oh well...nothing can change it now.

The Ducks ended the Canucks playoff drive in game #5 as Scott Niedermayer scored 4:30 into the second overtime Thursday night. Roberto Luongo stopped 56 pucks in the loss. Alex Burrows had the lone goal for the Canucks.
