kinki,

Coop is a course as well...hahaha
for CS, it's CMPT 426, 417..etc.

I don't know about ECON...

I am sure BUS has that too...but they are 2nd year courses.

What's in your mind? You can take whatever you like la...isn't it?

It's not like GPA can really affect you much now..hahaha

the thing is i dun know what i like/want to take..

dun wanna be risky..coz 100/200 are hard..coz there are lots to read and stuff and i might allocate too much time on it (when i shouldn't be)..
dun wanna screw my Econ courses..!!

..my time management is no good..++!!

i guess i'll think about it more later la..hee*!~

kinki,

Well, I guess you know what you should take by now..isn't it? ;)

Hm...then take some more ECON courses...do you think that's a good idea? The more you know, the better? Isn't it? =)

Just curious...do you need to write a lot in ECON courses? =P

i stopped thinking about it for now..
i just chose another Econ course [u r so smart..;)]..but i might change my mind again later..hahaha..

most of the econ..no..(not much writing)
but there are a few that is W (writing-intensive)..

but we need to take one 400 level course..which is a seminar..most of which requires students to participate (or present(ation)) which accounts for ~20-30% and write papers and/or a midterm and a final..

so i guess in general, we dun need to write a lot la

oh ya..btw..for bus, do you need to take some Econ too? (i.e. 301/305)?
i am just wondering..heehee*!~

kinki,

And I thought ECON is always a writing course tim. So..what do you usually do for assignments? Are they like short answers, or do you have to do some analysis...hahaha...sorry. I really don't know what ECON is.

Hmm..I guess it doesn't sound so bad. I guess it looks like a few of my project courses. We had to form groups in the class to create a software and present it to the class. Takes a lot of time, but it's a wonderful experiences once you go through it.

How do you know about ECON 301? =P I think BUS students are required to take ECON 301 or BUS 207. I don't know what that is. Is that an easy course? I know I gotta take it in the future, but I never tried to find out what that is.

It really depends on what the course it is. Beside those (W) courses which usually require you to write stuff, other courses' assignments usually comprised of short answers (concepts + graphs +/- math).

haha...coz i know someone who's in bus from before and she used to take a couple of econ courses with me. but she said she took those 200 level ones as elective. so i was just wondering if u'll need some upper econ courses lor?! heehee ^^

and as for econ 301, of coz i KNOW about it..coz it's one of my required upper level course lai ga ma..LOL =P
..and this course is mostly math + graph..
personally..i think it's hard [(maybe it's because i got a bad mark gua..i am always biased X(], but some ppl thinks it's not that hard..so i guess it really depends on urself la..

[coz u know when ppl say a course is easy/hard, i dun find it that easy/hard myself lor]

and also the prof matters too!

kinki,

I see I see..then I guess ECON courses are not too bad la...I guess. ;) I really think it depends if you enjoy the subjects or not. Like you, if you like ECON, you probably do ok in that subject. hahaa

I see...I don't have any electives lu...haha...ECON for electives? Your friend likes ECON ar? =P

What's the name of ECON 301? What is it about ga? =P I am so curious. ^^

ECON 301 is "Microeconomic Theory I: Competitive Behavior"

it's about ECON..LOL!~ haha..just kidding..
..i think it's the continuation of Econ 103 (i think it's 'supposed' to be)..but personally, i think it's way harder lor..

but then i think the stuff is kinda different..haha..dunno how to explain..dot dot..
